Accessible Document Conversion
SensusAccess is a self-service, alternate media solution available for all Providence College faculty, students and staff. It allows the ability to convert documents into a wide range of alternate media including audio books, e-books and digital Braille. The service can also be used to convert inaccessible documents such as image-only PDF files into more accessible formats.
With SensusAccess, faculty have the opportunity to easily create accessible formats on the front end, and students are empowered to easily convert their files into the format they need for their disability specific needs or to meet learning preferences. This tool promotes universal design for learning in the classroom and supports student choice and agency in their own learning. Try it out below.
